We're preparing our full privacy policy. In outline, when you apply for a newsroom we collect:

• Your name and email address, and a securely hashed password.
• Your newsroom's name, ID, chosen address and language.
• The categories and regions you enter while setting up.

We use this to set up and support your newsroom, and to contact you about it. We don't sell it. If your newsroom goes live, readers' data on your own news site is yours to control, not ours.
